Residents are being invited to join Crawley Question Time – formerly the Crawley Debate and State of the Borough.
The annual event takes the form of a general debate and discussion and will be held on Wednesday 5 February in the Civic Hall at 6.30pm.
There are no set topics this year so attendees can raise any areas or concerns such as community safety, health, council issues or matters relating to the economy.
Confirmed panellists are: Councillor Dr Howard Bloom, Leader of the Council; Councillor Peter Lamb, Leader of the Opposition; Chief Inspector Justina Beeken, Crawley District Commander; Amit Bhargava, Clinical Chief Officer, Crawley Clinical Commissioning Group; and Chris Maidment, Chair of the Local Economy Action Group and Chairman of Central Sussex College.
The event is open to everyone; the public, business leaders and partner organisations.
The views and comments expressed will help the council and others to plan work on improving services and the town in general.
Cllr Dr Howard Bloom said: “This event enables panel and audience members to discuss issues raised by Crawley’s residents and businesses.
“We’re keen to hear people’s views on key issues facing the town and I’d urge you to register and come along to Crawley Question Time.”
If you would like to ask a question or just listen to the debate, then you need to register by visiting www.crawley.gov.uk/questiontime or calling Ayesha Twyman on 01293 438685.
