Shoppers in Crawley Town Centre have been giving their views on health and social care today (September 30).
Staff and Volunteers from Healthwatch West Sussex spent the afternoon at the Queens Square bandstand to find out residents’ views on local services.
The aim of Healthwatch is to investigate consumers’ concerns and tell decision makers about these issues so they can take action, then check that they do.
The team - accompanied by a hospital bed - encouraged passing shoppers to have a bedside chat to try to identify any trends in views of Crawley residents.
The team will be touring for the next week to the following towns:
Tuesday October 1: Littlehampton - The High Street
Thursday 3: Chichester – Market Cross
Friday 4: Worthing - Montague Place
Monday 7: Burgess Hill – The Martlets
Wednesday 9: Horsham – Swan Walk
