LUKE FOR CHINA?

REDS captain Luke Anderson could be set to take part in the World Student Games in China in late summer.

The midfield man was one of 45 players who took part in trials at Lilleshall last week and has could be picked for the Great Britain Universities squad.

The 26-year-old revealed: I consider this to be a once-in-a- lifetime experience.

The world student games are the biggest in all international competition and I m sure Crawley Town would be very proud if they had one of their players in the Great Britain squad.

The games will take place between August 22, and September 1, but Reds Boss Billy Smith is not worried that it clashes with the start of the League season. It is always an honour to represent your country and we won t stand in his way, he said.
