Police are appealing for witnesses after a 10-year-old boy was assaulted as he pushed his bike home having suffered a puncture.
The child was walking in the Oatlands and Gossops Drive area of Crawley, on Wednesday (May 7) at 5.10pm, when he was approached by a man.
Sussex Police said the man grabbed his bike and pushed it towards him, causing him to fall and the bike to land on top of him.
The boy sustained bruising to his ankle.
A police spokesman said: “There is believed to be one suspect who is described as a large built white man, aged between 30 and 40, with a pale complexion.
“He has short black hair which was spiked at the front, brown eyes and stubble.”
