A man was found dead in a Gatwick hotel, police have said.

Emergency services were called to the Travelodge, Povey Cross Road, shortly after 7.30pm on Saturday (June 11).

Police said a 31-year-old man from Folkestone, Kent, was found dead in a first-floor bedroom.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: “There were no suspicious circumstances and the coroner has been informed.”
