A man has been rescued by fire services after his leg became trapped under 400kg of wood in Crawley.

Firefighters were called to the incident in Crompton Way at around 8am this morning (Tuesday April 7).

A spokesperson from West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said the man was released by a crew from Crawley using hydraulic rescue equipment and person power.
