A man who spent a year growing his hair and beard has had them shaved off to raise money for charity.
Martin Hogan, from Bewbush, Crawley, had his straggly locks and bushy beard cut off at the White Hart pub on Saturday (August 9) to raise money for St Catherine’s Hospice.
This was not the first time Martin endured a close shave for a good cause. This year, the deed was done by Neil Fletcher, whose wife, Karen, is a staff nurse at the hospice. Martin offered his thanks to everyone who sponsored him and donated money.
