Motorcyclist in hospital after M23 crash

A motorcyclist has been taken to hospital after crashing on the M23.

Emergency services were called to the northbound carriageway near Tilgate Forest at 9.15pm on Wednesday (March 16).

A spokesman for South East Coast Ambulance Service said the motorcyclist, a man aged in his 40s, was taken to Princess Royal hospital in Haywards Heath.

His injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

Firefighters were called to deal with a fuel spill, said a spokesman.
