Paramedics came to the aid of a woman after she crashed outside an ambulance station.

Donna Logan, 55, was taken to East Surrey Hospital with chest pains after she was involved in an accident on the A23 Ifield Avenue roundabout.

Donna, of Waterfall Crescent, Bewbush, said paramedic crews were on the scene quickly after her silver Vauxhall Astra estate was involved in an accident with a car and a taxi, at around 9am on Wednesday last week (September 30).

She said she struggled to breathe and suffered burns and bruising after the impact ‘slammed’ her car to the side of the road.

Donna, who has three grandchildren, said she was more concerned of other people’s safety than her own immediately after the crash.

She thanked a ‘very nice, friendly bloke’ who comforted her until paramedics and police arrived shortly after.

She said: “I just want to thank him and say he was very helpful and kind and funny.”
