Pease Pottage man accused of child sex offences

A Pease Pottage man has appeared in court this week accused of seven sexual offences involving children.

Anthony McSweeney, 68, of Old Brighton Road, Pease Pottage, is on trial at Southwark Crown Court.

A spokesperson for the crown court said: “He is charged with taking indecent photograph/pseudo-photograph of a child, three counts of making indecent photograph/pseudo-photography of a child, two counts of indecent assault on a boy under 16 years, and indecent assault on a boy under 14 years.

He pleaded not guilty to all counts.

The case continues.
