Pedestrian, 77, airlifted to hospital after Waitrose car park collision

A 77-year-old woman from Turners Hill has been airlifted to hospital following a collision in a supermarket car park.

Police appealed for witnesses after the pedestrian sustained serious head injuries from the collision with a car yesterday (Thursday January 15).

She was flown to St George’s Hospital in London.

The 82-year-old woman driving the Toyota Rav 4 in the Waitrose in East Grinstead was uninjured.
