Plans to relocate a piece of public art next to a Maidenbower roundabout will be debated early next month.

Crawley Borough Council is proposing to move the three seven-metre high metal poles with rotating figures on the top to a piece of land south of the community and day care centre off the Maidenbower Drive and Harvest Road junction.

The artwork is currently at the footpath entry from Balcombe Road on to Worth Way.

CBC’s planning committee will debate the planning application on Tuesday (June 7).

The committee report suggests the artwork is considered to be a ‘prominent addition to the street scene’.
