Police officers were called to a fight in Crawley railway station’s car park.

British Transport Police appealed for witnesses after it was called to the scene at 12.36am on Friday (May 29).

A spokesman said: “A 25-year-old man, from London, was arrested on suspicion of possession of a bladed article. He was taken into custody, interviewed under caution and subsequently released on police bail, pending further enquiries.

“A knife was recovered from the scene.

“Anyone with information is asked to contact British Transport Police on 0800 40 50 40, or text 61016, quoting incident 24 of 29/05/2015.”
