Police chased a motorcyclist who was caught speeding in Crawley yesterday (July 23).

Officers spotted the speeding motorbike in Pelham Drive at 4.30pm.

The bike failed to stop and officers pursued it into Bewbush where they lost sight of the vehicle.

Patrols and the police helicopter were called to the area to look for the rider and the Kawasaki KL250 motocross bike.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said enquiries are continuing.
