Police were called to Kilnwood Vale in Faygate yesterday after reports a wanted man had been sighted.

Bradley Moynes, whose last known address was in Crawley, is wanted for recall to prison after he breached the terms of his licence.

He was released in May 2014, part way through a six-year sentence for blackmail imposed at Lewes Crown Court in October 2011.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: “We were contacted at 10pm on Sunday June 28 with a report that wanted man had been seen in Kilnwood Vale, Faygate.

“The police helicopter assisted officers on the ground in searching for Moynes but he was not found.

“The teams were stood down at 12.30am on Monday June 29.”

Police said Moynes has still not been found and a reward has been offered to try and find the 29-year-old.

Moynes is described as white, 5’ 9” and slim with brown hair and brown eyes. He has a tattoo of a cross on his left forearm.

PC Mike Stone said: “We need to speak to anyone who has seen Moynes or who knows where he could be. A £250 reward is available to whoever gives us the information that leads to his arrest.

“If you know where he is or if you see him, call 999.”

Anyone with information should email 101@sussex.pnn.police.uk quoting Operation Agent or serial number 703 of 12/06, call 101 or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
