Dean Saunders has said weeks do not come any tougher for his Crawley Town side than this one.

Reds travel to eighth-placed Bradford tonight, who are looking to climb back into the play-off places, before hosting leaders Bristol City on Saturday.

Hopefully, it’s a good time to play them, it’s not a good time to play us by the way.

Saunders’ side however are in form themselves and unbeaten in three with wins against Barnsley and Swindon and a point against Sheffield United on Saturday.

He said: “You can’t get a more difficult week than the one we have got.

“Bradford away and Bristol City, so it would have been nice to get the three points on Saturday.

“But it is three undefeated and we are starting to look like a team.

“We have got players playing for the team. Sacrificing their own games and putting a shift in.”

Saunders is hoping that Bradford’s sixth-round FA Cup tie with Reading on Saturday could prove a distraction for The Bantams.

He said: “You can say as much as you like and tell the players keep your mind on the game, but human nature tells you there is a game next week.

“I have done it, we have all done it, you can’t help it.

“You can say as much as you like to concentrate on this one, but when there is a big game coming (you think about it).

“Hopefully, it’s a good time to play them, it’s not a good time to play us by the way.

“They are a good team, they have some good players and good some good strikers. They have been together a long time and they are trying to get out the league.

“They are trying to win it so that’s about nine teams we have played that are trying to win the league in the last couple.

“Our players are doing great and at the moment they look like they can beat anyone.”
