There were Easter bonnets and big smiles all round when children showed off their creative skills at school.
Youngsters from Gossops Green Primary School, in Kidborough Road, paraded their creations in front of their parents and grandparents before breaking up for the holidays.
From floppy brimmed hats to straw boaters, every hat was enthusiastically decorated with multicoloured Easter eggs, tassels, flowers and even an Easter chick perched on its own nest.
Headteacher Dawn Martin said: “As usual, the event was well attended by parents, who enjoyed the carnival atmosphere.
“As usual, there were many original and clever designs and the children thoroughly enjoyed their moment of glory, twirling on the catwalk.”
