Crawley children have thrown themselves head first into Red Nose Day, raising money in a variety of fun ways.

At Maidenbower Junior School, one Year 5 class raised £86 with a bake sale; there was face painting and every pupil paid £1 to dress down for the day.

Children at St Andrew’s School, in Furnace Green, made their faces funny for money after dance group Groovy Feet entertained everyone at assembly.

The school doesn’t know how much it raised yet but everyone had a good time for a good cause.

Pirates and super heroes mingled with red noses and curly red wigs as Our Lady Queen of Heaven School, in Langley Green, combined Comic Relief with World Book Day.

What did you do for Red Nose Day.
