A Sussex mental health recovery charity volunteers were ‘thrilled’ about an office move.

Sussex Oakleaf moved its administrative office from Haywards Heath to the Crawley Community and Voluntary Service (CCVS) office on Thursday, October 1.

Chief Executive Neil Curtis said: “We are thrilled to be making this move as it fits perfectly with our strategic goals of partnership and shared learning, fostering new alliances and enabling us to reach more of those in need of our support.

“The moves help us to remain administratively efficient, focussing our support and resources on the services and communities in which we serve across the county.”

The CCVS office at The Orchard, Gleneagles Court, is a base for charitable organisations including Relate, Citizens Advice Bureau, Shelter and the Crawley Ethnic Minority Partnership.

A spokesman said: “Sussex Oakleaf will also retain its strong presence in Mid Sussex through their well established residential and community services supported by a new office within the Mid Sussex CVS building at 38 Church Road, Burgess Hill.”
