Thai-boxing: Paulo da Silva is a knockout in Las Vegas

CRAWLEY Thai-boxing Club star Paulo Da Silva travelled to Las Vegas in the USA last weekend for a huge international show.

Da Silva was matched against the American champion Romy Adanza from Los Angeles for the WCK International title at 55kg (bantamweight)

who he had lost to in a narrow points decision in April.

The rematch was a different story as after two minutes 22 seconds into the first round Da Silva landed a thunderous left hook that sent Romy Adanza into space.

He then used his experience and speed to finish the job with a flurry of six punches before Adanza hit the deck, handing the Crawley pocket rocket a first round knockout.

Crawley Thai Boxing Club have a big night coming up with Ruth Ashdown fighting Leonor Agostinho (Portugal) for European title at the Fairfield Halls, Croydon on August 16.
