Three men are waiting to be sentenced after kidnapping and assaulting a man in Crawley, police say.
Jannai Quacoe, 25, of no fixed address, denied kidnapping, making threats to kill, and two counts of causing grievous bodily harm, but was found guilty on Monday by a jury at Hove.
Noel Goode, 20, of Ifield Road, Crawley, pleaded guilty to two counts of causing grievous bodily harm, kidnapping, making threats to kill, and dangerous driving.
Daniel Ellison, 24, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
All three are due to be sentenced in the week beginning July 4.
The court heard that victim Russell Lefevre was found unconscious in a stream in Tilgate Park, Crawley in December.
He had suffered a number of injuries including a broken leg and fractures to both eye sockets.
