Tools stolen from four vans

Tools were stolen from four vans during a number of break-ins in Crawley.

The thefts took place between February 8 and 13 in the town centre, Three Bridges, Ifield and Tilgate.

The first vehicle targeted was parked in a car park in The Broadway between February 8-10. Contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting serial number 0586 of 10/02 if you have any information.

The next van was owned by Sandman Signature hotels and was parked in Tinsley Lane on February 10 when the tools were taken. Contact Sussex Police on 101 quoting serial number 1545 of 10/02 if you have any information.

A Peugeot van parked in Duncton Close was broken into on February 12 and a selection of tools were taken. Call Sussex Police on 101 quoting serial number 0235 of 12/02 if you have any information.

Finally, tools were taken from a van belonging to Sports Den, in Tilgate Place, on February 13.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said there was no sign of forced entry and it was believed the tools could have been taken while the driver was off-loading some rubbish.
