After a night of torrential rain, some of Crawley’s roads are slick with surface water – but the downpour looks set to clear up.

The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain in London and the south east but forecast it will begin to clear at around 4pm today (January 8).

Despite the rain, West Sussex Fire & Rescue reported no incidents of flooding in the town.
