A tropical garden grown by disadvantaged young people has opened in Tilgate Park’s Walled Garden, Crawley.
Students at charity Camelia Bornar Foundation’s garden centre in Cowfold grew and supplied most of the exotic plants.
Visitors can catch a glimpse of another garden through an open door which has been painted on the wall.
Cllr Chris Mullins, cabinet member for leisure and culture, said: “The new tropical display is a fantastic addition to the Walled Garden and I’d like to congratulate the staff and students on their hard work.
“We’re proud to be able to offer ways for local young people to gain valuable work experience while enhancing Tilgate Park in ways everyone can enjoy.”
