A motor company plans to create up to 100 jobs as part of its £11million investment in a factory site in Crawley.
The Motorline Group has announced it has purchased the former Pasta Reale site in Fleming Way as part of its expansion across the south of England.
The Kent-based motor group already operates three sites in Crawley with Volkswagen, Nissan and Toyota dealerships within half a mile radius.
The 3.2 acre site has been empty since Pasta Reale went into administration in August 2014.
Motorline chairman Glen Obee said: “We have created strong growth momentum across the group over the last five years and are looking to build on this in 2015.
“We will be looking to invest around £11 million to refurbish the former pasta factory and make it a valued part of our growing motor business.”
He added: “It is an exciting acquisition that marks the continuation of our long-term growth strategy and on-going investment in the improvement and expansion of our property, facilities and infrastructure.”
