Detectives are investigating the incident which took place in the town centre on Sunday (October 18).

Emergency services were called to a fight in The Boulevard at 2pm.

Police said a 37-year-old man was stabbed in the leg and was taken to East Surrey Hospital, where he is still receiving treatment.
