Van destroyed in arson attack

A van has been destroyed by arson.

Two fire engine crews were called to the blaze in Reigate Road, Hookwood, at 8.06am today (Monday November 2).

A spokesman for Surrey Fire and Rescue Service said: “The fire was put out within eight minutes but unfortunately the vehicle was destroyed by the blaze, no-one was injured in the incident.”

The fire was believed to have been started deliberately.
