Following a bumper turn-out earlier in the year, the Cathedrals Express steam train will be returning to Horsham on Wednesday December 2 for a festive trip to Oxford.
The train, once again hauled by 61306 Mayflower, will head to Oxford, where passengers can do some Christmas shopping and also enjoy a private carol service in Christ Church Cathedral.
Departure time is around 8.20am and the train is set to arrive at Oxford around 1.30pm.
Our video features the 70013 Oliver Cromwell leaving Horsham last year on a Cathedrals Express trip.
Marcus Robertson, Chairman of Steam Dreams, said “We were thrilled to see so many people at Horsham station to wave us off or travel with us on our trip to Bath earlier in the year and hope that more locals will join us for this special Christmas trip to Oxford.
“To enjoy a carol service in the exquisite setting of Christ Church Cathedral, the only Cathedral located within a University College, will be an unforgettable experience and the perfect way to kick of festive celebrations.”
The 61306 Mayflower will be decorated for the festive season
