VIDEO SNOW: M23 clear after nightmare journeys for commuters

Waiting for Video...

The M23 was clear at 7am this morning after horror stories of commuters’ journeys taking up to 11 hours.

The Crawley Observer’s very own chief reporter Karen Dunn and sports editor Graham Carter were among those stuck in the horrendous conditions.

Journeys which would normally take up 20 minutes were taking between 6 to 11 hours.

@Gatwick_Airport tweeted this morning ‘We advise passengers to leave plenty of extra time for their journey to the airport this morning. The A23 south of Gatwick is very slow.’
