When the Duchess met the sea cadets

We’ve met the youngsters from TS Cossack, now this week it’s the turn of the TS Superb team.

These pictures were taken in June 1985 during a visit by Lavinia, Duchess of Norfolk, as she inspected the ranks and joked around with some of the cadets. The Duchess died in 1995.

And that’s as much as we know about the photos! Can anyone put any names to faces?

TS Superb is still going strong with roughly 40 cadets meeting at their HQ at Holy Trinity School, Gossops Green.
