Two Crawley Town Football Club players have joined youngsters for a kick-about.
Midfielder Andy Drury, 30, and defender Connor Essam, 21, visited around 60 children attending a three-day football course in Maidenbower Junior School today (Wednesday April 16).
Connor said: “It’s nice for us to come down and see the kids having fun and we can relate to them.”
Crawley Town Community and Sports Foundation, the club’s charitable arm, hosted the event.
The young footballers took part in tournaments and were coached professionally while there were high-fives all round from mascot Reggie the Red.
Connor said he would like to coach after he retired as a footballer.
