Woman arrested after police find cannabis plants

A woman was arrested after a police raid turned up a number of cannabis plants at a house in Crawley.

A spokesman for Sussex Police said officers entered the house in Hogarth Road, Tilgate, at 8.50am on Monday (April 14)and seized “a small quantity of cannabis plants”.

A 35-year old woman was arrested on suspicion of cannabis cultivation and was later released on police bail until July 8 while enquiries continue.
