Have your say

The Samaritans have some good news for their Crawley callers.

From October 31 the Crawley landline number will be replaced by the new national free to call number 116 123. This number can be called free of charge from mobiles, landlines and public phone boxes from anywhere in the UK. The other advantage is that the number will not show up on anyone’s phone records so no one will be able find out that you’ve called Samaritans and confidentiality will be complete.

Local Samaritans volunteers will be present in the County Mall outside Pandora on Saturday 31st October to promote the new number and answer any questions that people might have.

Samaritans offer emotional support every day and night of the year for those suffering feelings of distress including those that might lead to suicide. As well as calling 116 123 by phone, callers can contact Samaritans by text: 07725 90 90 90; by email: jo@samaritans.org and can call in to their local branch.

Locations and opening times can be found on the Samaritans web site: www.samaritans.org. Anyone wishing to call a landline number, for which local charges will apply, can phone the branch on 01403 276276.
