LETTER: Ring with sentimental value lost in Horley

My husband died on 9th April this year and I’ve worn his wedding ring on my index finger of my left hand ever since.

Unfortunately, on Monday afternoon 16th November in Horley, between Nationwide building society, Lidl shop and car park, Lloyds chemist and Regent Hall car park, the ring must have come off my finger. All the people I contacted at these premises were very kind but no one so far has handed it in.

It is of great sentimental value to me, as you can imagine. If anyone should find it, could you hand it in to Regent Hall offices. It’s just a plain wide gold wedding ring that I would dearly love to have back.
