Through your newspaper may I express my sincere thanks to John Nolan Chair of Crawley Irish Festival and his Committee for organising the 20th Crawley Irish Festival this year.
My family and thousands of other people from London to the South Coast enjoyed a wonderful afternoon of music, singing, and dancing from many talented performers. On the main stage was John McNicholl Ireland’s top Country & Irish entertainer, who was on stage for over two hours and had everyone dancing throughout his performance.
This event has become a major attraction in the town for the last 20 years and long may it continue. This festival would not be able to take place without the continued support from various sponsors, including grants from Department of Foreign Affairs and trade of Ireland, Crawley Borough Council, West Sussex County Council and of course The Hawth for the use of their theatre and grounds.
I would say everyone had a great Craic, and roll on 2016.
