While the weekend is set to be warmer and sunnier than in recent days, Bank Holiday Monday could turn out to be wet and windy.
The Met Office forecast for tomorrow is for plenty of sunny intervals with the threat of an occasional light shower later in the afternoon.
Sunday is again due to feature plenty of sunshine before lunchtime and then getting more cloudy.
Temperatures are likely to move up to 12-14degC.
However, Bank Holiday Monday is forecast to be overcast with light rain until late afternoon, with gusting south-west winds.
As the week progresses temperatures are expected to edge towards normal for the time of year.
