YOUTH FOOTBALL: Furngate Sixes set to kick-off this weekend

THIS weekend sees the return of the most successful local youth football tournament, the Furngate Sixes.

The Crawley Observer and our sister paper the Crawley Times are proud to again be the main sponsors of this festival.

A remarkable 140 teams and thousands of players and spectators will be contesting 15 groups at the Oakwood School, Balcombe Road, Horley from 9.30am to 5.30pm on Saturday and Sunday.

Among those in action will be Furngate Youth FC's successful under-14s team who won the Worthing Dynamoes tournament on Saturday.

They were managed by the Furngate chairman Raj Dhiman, who is also organising the Furngate Sixes.

Be sure to order your copy of next week's Crawley Observer to read our exclusive coverage in a 16-page supplement.

Return to our website next week to see videos of the play itself.

Watch Raj talking about the event in the video, right.
