Reds boss Steve Evans has netted two more signings over the Bank Holiday weekend - taking his new signings for next season to five.
Joining up at the Broadfield Stadium are midfielder Simon Weatherstone (Weymouth) and wide player Danny Forrest (Halifax Town).
Weatherstone was skipper at Weymouth last season and played earlier in his career for boss Evans during the conference
winning season at Boston United.
The player scored an outstanding volley in a match here against Crawley late last season when Weymouth secured a valuable point in their fight to avoid relegation.
Weatherstone was a player Evans failed to capture last summer when the player re-signed for the Terras, but he has been successful on this occasion.
A number of Blue Square Conference Premier Clubs have met with the player but he has chosen to team up with his former boss.
The second signing, Danny Forrest, has enjoyed an excellent season at Halifax Town while his appearances at League 1 level for Bradford City first brought him to the attention of Reds boss Evans and his deputy Paul Raynor.
Reds Assistant manager Raynor added: "Today we have completed two excellent signings. Both players will offer us creativity going forward and a desire to work hard when the team is out of possession.
!We never got that balance right enough last term and we need to put that right.
"The boy Weatherstone has tremendous technique, is well known to the manager and a lot will be expected of him by not only us, the management team, but he himself.
"Any midfield player who gets goals is a big asset and that is a strong part of this boys' game.
"Danny Forrest is in our eyes, predominantly a wide midfield player who can operate effectively either on the right or the left of midfield and has good quality from both areas.
"We have watched him on a number of occasions last season and his performances have mostly been outstanding.
"He came down last week to meet with Stevenage Borough and ourselves while it would be fair to say he had a few other alternatives. He knows a few of our lads and he is best friends with Tyrone Thompson who we are told gave us a super recommendation which itself is nice.
"We got a pleasant surprise yesterday when Danny telephoned us to say he wanted to sign for us as we thought he was perhaps heading elsewhere.
"The squad is coming together nicely, it is balanced and we have some great versatility with a number of players who can be utilised in different positions. That is very important when you have to operate with a small squad, we have gone for quality in preference to quantity."
The Reds assistant boss confirmed they were in advanced talks with a goalkeeper and two further outfield players but no identities would be revealed by Raynor.
The assistant boss also confirmed that striker Magno Viera will not be offered a new deal.
He said: "Magno is a good lad with a great attitude but we will not be offering him a new deal. We know what players we want and we are focussed on that but obviously we thank Magno for his contribution last season."
