THREE Bridges' boss Paul
Faili is planning his assault for the County League title next season.
Pre-season is now well underway with several new players set to be announced by the club next week.

Bridges played Badshot Lea on Saturday and notched up a convincing 3-0 win with triallist, and former Horsham YMCA forward, James Grant
impressing.

Faili said he has set a date of Thursday (tomorrow) this
week to sign all of his new 20-man squad for the new season.

After winning the RUR Cup in May, Faili is getting prepared to lead the charge for the County League Division One title and admitted he would have failed if they don't.

He said: "We seem to be the team to be a part of. We play very good football and this is the season, without a shadow of a doubt, that if I don't win the league this year I've failed.

"I've brought players in so we can do that and if we can cut out the mistakes we made last year we'll be up there."

Faili revealed that goalkeeper Mark Fox will remain as the club's number one 'keeper and there could be a new French striker arriving at
the club next week.

Frenchman Williams Pearoux and youngster Sam McVicar also completed a very successful trial at League Two Exeter City this week.

The league club will be playing Three Bridges in a friendly on Saturday, July 26 at Jubilee Field.

Faili added: "Both players did fantastically well at Exeter.

"Williams just needs to add a bit to his training and then (Exeter assistant manager) John Yems said they will have a look at him again in
three months, so we will work with him on that.

"With Sam McVicar it is down to him to make a decision on whether he wants to be a professional footballer.

"I think if he wants to go to Exeter he can but I know his education is very important to him and he's going to wait until his exam results.

"I think they will speak to him in September."

Bridges play Leatherhead at home on Saturday.
