O'Sullivan signs for Stevenage
BLUE Square South outfit Braintree Town have completed the signing of Stevenage striker Wayne O'Sullivan.
He began his career in the Ryman League Premier with Hendon scoring an impressive 16 goals in 25 matches and has also had spells at Arsenal and Exeter.
He signed for Stevenage in January on a two year contract but when Peter Taylor resigned as manager in Aril, new boss Graham Westley immediately placed him on the transfer list.

Brake to join Lewes
Former Crawley Town player and local lad Nigel Brake is set to leave Horsham and join newly-promoted Lewes in the Blue Square Premier.
The move to the Blue Square South champions is subject to a successful knee operation.
Brown switches to Wrexham
Mansfield Town midfielder Simon Brown is signing for Wrexham, having been released by Mansfield Town in May. They were relegated from League Two into the Blue Square Conference.
Christie turns down Kiddy
Kidderminster Harriers striker Lyseden Christie has rejected an offer to stay at the midlands club because he wants to join Stevenage Borough.
Forest Green boss steps down
Forest Green chairman Colin Gardner is quitting his position for health reasons. He has been diagnosed with a brain tumour and needs uregent treatment.

Grant is leader of the pack
Former Charlton striker Kim Grant has been named the new manager of Woking.
He will take over for the Cards, who have been looking for a new boss since Frank Gray left in April.
Grant, 35, is a former Ghana international who played for Charlton in the Premiership and used to live in Maidenbower.
He scored twice in the Sussex Senior Cup as a trialist for Crawley Town in the Sussex Senior Cup under former manager John Hollins, but was never taken on.
His other clubs include Yeovil and he has played and coached in Singapore.
Taylor joins Grays
Former Crawley Town striker Jamie Taylor has joined Grays Athletic on a two-year deal.
The Crawley born player made the move permanent, having been on loan at the Essex club from League Two neighbours Dagenham & Redbridge.
Taylor, 25, whose former clubs include Aldershot, Oakwood and Broadbridge Heath, scored nine goals in 17 appearances since going to Grays in January.
Grays set for £1million pay day
Blue Square Premier club Grays could be heading for a fat £1.2 million pay day if two of their former players are sold on by their clubs this summer.
Aaron McLean was sold by the Essex club to Peterborough in October 2006 for £100,000 and became the top scorer on League Two, having netted 43 goals in 77 matches.
Michael Kightly, 22, was also sold in November 2006 to Wolves for just £25,000 and has not only become a regular performer in the Championship, but has also played for England Under-21s.
Both are attracting interest from big-spending clubs and a clause in their contracts means will earn Grays 20 per cent of any transfer money, according to owner-manager Mick Woodward.
It is believed Wolves have already turned down a £4million bid for Kightly, while Peterborough want £2million for McLean.

Rendell on the move
Former Crawley Town striker Scott Rendell has left Cambridge United to join Peterborough.
United just missed out on promotion to League Two, losing 1-0 to Exeter City in the play-off final last Sunday.
Rendell has been on loan at the Posh since February but has managed to secure a permanent deal.
Grays sign trio
Grays Athletic have completed the signings of Charlie Ide, Rob Gier and midfielder Mark Molesley.

McGrath signs new deal at Burton
Burton Albion midfielder John McGrath, 28, is to stay at the club next season.
The midfielder was believed to be following Daryl Clare out of the door to pastures new, but has accepted a new deal.
Mansfield skipper rejects new offer
Mansfield captain Jake Buxton has said he wants to stay in the Football League and does not want to play in the Conference next season.
The relegated team's 23-year-old skipper has been made an increased offer by his club but is seeking offers from League clubs. Mansfield have set a price of £20,000 to buy the central defender.

Vieira not being pursued by Cambridge
Cambridge manager Jimmy Quinn will not pursuing on-loan Crawley Town striker Magno Vieira.
The striker has been on loan at United since March and will go back to Crawley where Reds manager Steve Evans will have a meeting with him about his future.
Courtney Pitt, Leo Fortune-West, Dan Chillingworth, Mark Peters and Michael Hyem have all been told that they will not be given new contracts.
Quinn has given one-year contract extensions to Ben Farrell, Jordan Collins and Stephen Reed.
Weymouth sign Joseph-Dubois and Santos
FORMER Crawley Town striker Pierre Joseph-Dubois has signed for Weymouth.
Terras boss John Hollins has captured the 20-year-old after he was released from Crawley at the end of the season.
The striker was signed by Steve Evans last summer and scored four league goals for the club.
Weymouth have also signed Brazillian defender Marcio Santos Gaia who has played for Exeter City, Stevenage Borough, Halifax Town and was released by Grays at the end of the season.
Both have signed one year contacts with the club.

Morgan signs for Aldershot
Striker Marvin Morgan has left Woking to sign for newly promoted Aldershot for an undisclosed fee.
He scored 10 goals for the cards after signing for them last summer and he will now be playing League Two football for The Shots.
Forest Green add firepower
Forest manager Jim Harvey has signed Weymouth striker Conal Platt and Bury forward Andy Morgan.

Stevenage complete double swoop
Midfielder Andy Drury has signed for Graham Westley's Stevenage after he was released by newly promoted Lewes.
Striker Anthony Thomas has also signed on the dotted line for Borough follwing his release from Barnet.

Exeter win play-off final
Exeter City earned themselves promotion into League Two when they beat Cambridge Utd 1-0 in front of over 42,000 fans in the Blue Square Play-off Final at Wembley Stadium on Sunday.
It reversed the result from last year when they lost to Morecambe, despite having had the lead.
Exeter's Rob Edwards found himself with a good chance to draw first blood in the 13th minute but his 12-yard shot missed the right-hand post.
Rob Edwards made up for an earlier miss by netting the only goal in the 20th minute.
Dean Moxey swung in an inviting cross from the right-hand by-line which was headed in by Edwards at the left-hand side of the six-yard box.
6.30pm - York place Wroe on transfer list
York City have put midfielder Nicky Wroe on the transfer list after he told them he no longer wanted to play for them anymore.
The 23-year-old made 27 starts and 13 appearances from the bench, during the season, scoring 10 goals.
4pm - Droylsden 'keeper signs for Stalybridge
Blue Square North club Stalybridge Celtic have snapped up goalkeeper Paul Phillips from relegated Blue Square Premier outfit Droylsden.
He is Celtic boss Steve Burr's first summer signing, having been the regular custodian for the Bloods this season.

Weymouth sign youngsters
The Terras' have captured highly rated youngsters Joshua Webb and Sam Cutler.
Son of former England international Neil Webb and a product of Reading's youth academy, Joshua has signed a one-year deal.
Cutler left Cambridge United after failing to agree a contract.

Gulls sign up Brough
Torquay Utd have signed Forest Green Rovers skipper Michael Brough on a two-year deal. The midfielder has been at FGR since January 2006, having previously played for Notts County and Stevenage.

15.55pm - Aldershot sign Blackburn
Blue Square Premier champions Aldershot Town have signed former Swindon Town defender Chris Blackburn. The 25-year-old ended the season on loan at Weymouth and has recently been released by Swindon, having joined them one year ago from Morecambe.
15.45pm - Halifax thrown out of Blue Square Premier
Halifax Town have been told they will not be plying their trade in the top flight of non-league football next season, following their recent financial meltdown.
Instead, they have been offered a place four divisions below in the Northern Premier Division One North. Previously they were a long- established club in the Football League.
12.40pm - Stevenage 'keeper off to Gillingham
LEAGUE One club Gillingham are about to sign Stevenage Borough goalkeeper Alan Julian. He will be the third player to make the move to the Kent club, recruited by former Stevenage boss Mark Stimson, who is now manager of the Gills. Julian has been at Stevenage since 2005.
New Stevenage chief Graham Westley has already agreed a deal with Crawley Town 'keeper Ashley Bayes, who turned down an offer to stay on at Broadfield Stadium.
11.55am - Lewes sign trio
Conference South champions Lewes began their preparations for joining the Blue Square National by making their first signings since sacking successful manager Steven King.
New boss Kevin Keehan has recruited duo Chris Breach and Seb Wallis-Tayler from troubled West Sussex club Bognor Regis. They have also signed striker Chamal Fenelon from Havant & Waterlooville. He was part of the treble-winning Pease Pottage team a year ago.

2.50pm - Torquay clearout
Paul Buckle has begun to re-shape his Gulls squad by releasing four players.
Tony Bedeau, Matt Hockley, Paul Hinshelwood and Darren Mullings have not been offered new deals by the club. Chris Zebroski and Mark Ellis have returned to their parent clubs.
2.30pm - Rushden make another signing
Rushden and Diamonds have signed Lee Phillips from Torquay United.
The striker, 27, made 41 league appearances for the club scoring 12 goals.
1pm - Midfielder signs for Morecombe
Northwich Victoria midfielder Michael Carr, 24, has signed for League Two club Morecombe ona free transfer.
11am - Borough sign striker
Stevenage Borough have signed striker Craig Westcarr from Blue Square North champions Kettering Town.
Clare moves to Rushden
Rushden and Diamonds have signed former Crawley Town striker Daryl Clare from Burton Albion.
The 29-year-old turned down a new deal at Nigel Clough's Albion after he scored 48 goals in 99 games for the club.
Meanwhile Michael Simpson, Darren Stride and Aarron Webster have all signed new contracts for Burton and Mark Greaves has joined York.
Wednesday, May 14
Striker set to leave?
Stevenage Borough have placed striker Steve Morison on the transfer list. The frontman has scored 57 goals for the club since he joined the club in 2006.
Morison handed the chairman a transfer request in after the club's last game fo the season.
York sign 'keeper
Northern Ireland international Michael Ingham has signed for York City after being released by Hereford United.
Boston in trouble?
Steve Evans' former club Boston are awaiting a decision on their future because they remain in breach of league regulations.
They came out of administration in April and will have to await until June 7 to see if the are allowed to stay in the Blue Square North.
