LONDON'S High Court lifted the winding up order made against Crawley Town FC today after it heard the club had paid its debts off.
The Reds had their future reassured along with other Blue Sqaure Premier club Northwich Victoria who had the same order.

Winding up moves had been launched in each case by Her Majesty's Revenue and Customs.

During two brief hearings, Mr Registrar Nicholls was told that Crawley Town had paid its debts, and agreement had been reached to pay-off Northwich Victoria's debts.

The judge ordered each club to pay legal costs to HMRC after formally dismissing the winding up moves.

If Crawley had been wound up, its affairs would effectively have been handed over to an Official Receiver.

Crawley will now unveil the new owners of the club at a press conference on Monday afternoon.
