PREMIER League giants Arsenal are on their way to play Crawley at the Broadfield Stadium, with some of the Gunners' new signings likely to be on show.
It is the third massive friendly the club have announced in as many weeks with Tottenham Hotspur and Crystal Palace already confirmed in the pre-season programme.

Two weeks ago the Observer exclusively predicted that another top flight club were going to be playing at the Broadfield Stadium with those two teams.

Crawley boss Steve Evans said: "It is tremendous to have a team like Arsenal coming to Crawley.

"I've been speaking to academy director Liam Brady for some time about the possibility of them coming here and last week I got the call to confirm they are coming.

"I think there will be a mixture of players that they will bring. I expect a team of players that are in and around the first team squad.

"We will have Spurs and Arsenal playing here in the space of a week, add Crystal Palace to that, it is extraordinary.

"It's nothing short of fantastic."

Arsenal will visit the Broadfield Stadium on Saturday, July 26 at 3pm. To book tickets visit the stadium or call their office on (01293) 410000.
