FORMER Conference golden boot winner Giuliano Grazioli is on trial at Crawley Town.
The striker, 33, who scored 62 goals in 131 appearances for Barnet was due to make his debut for Reds in their friendly at Ryman League side Croydon Athletic last night.

Crawley fans will be familiar with him after he helped Barnet gain promotion to the Football League in 2005, beating Town twice during the campaign in which Grazioli scored 29 goals.

Reds' boss Steve Evans said: "He's a great player and played against us when we were at Boston many times.

"We have him here for a trial and it all depends on how fit and hungry he is as to whether we make him an offer.

"He's a goalscorer and could be the ideal player to link up with the forwards we already have: Jamie Cook, Isaiah Rankin, Steve Fletcher, Danny Forrest and Simon Weatherstone who can all play up front.

"Of course he would have to prove he is better than we already have to earn a place in the squad."

Evans takes his troops up north on Saturday for a game against the first club he managed, Stamford AFC.

Reds complete their campaign on Tuesday, August 4 with a visit to Sussex County League side St Francis Rangers, where he will take an XI made up of fringe players and late trialists.
