Crawley’s Sussex Senior Cup tie postponed

Crawley Town’s visit to Newhaven in the Sussex Senior Cup tomorrow night has been postponed.

Sussex County League side Newhaven were due to host the Reds at their Fort Road home, but due to a frozen pitch, the Third Round tie was called-off.

Boss Richie Barker had pledged to field a strong side, as after Saturday’s match at home to Carlisle became a victim of the freezing weather conditions, the match against Preston next Tuesday would be their first action in 17 days.

A new date for the tie has yet to be set.
