Crawley Town assistant manager Paul Groves was delighted with Reds’ display in beating Swindon Town 1-0.

He said: “It was another difficult match especially after playing 130 minutes in midweek. It was an excellent win.

“Over pre-season and the start of the season the players have shown their qualities - resilience, excellent levels of fitness and togetherness. They’ve all come to the fore today.

“They’ve (Crawley) had the best opportunities to finish albeit they (Swindon) have had more possession.

“In the second half we’ve had one opportunity to put it away and Izale takes it and we take the three points.”
