But he warned they are going to be up against as really tough side put together by boss John Coleman who are ninth in the League 2 table.

Yates said: “If I get the same level of performance and commitment from the boys which they gave us last Saturday I’ll be happy.

“They are having a terrific season, a really good side. They know how to hurt teams as they showed when they came down here and beat us.

“John has done a great job up there. They don’t get big crowds so money is tight but what he has achieved shows what can be done if you are given time to build a squad and work with the same group over a period of time.

“We’ve just got to go and do our jobs like we did on Saturday against Stevenage.

“They will probably have more of the ball than we will probably have but it is about what you do with it. We need to be resolute, have a goal-threat and have ball retention within our play with whatever team we put out there.

“In terms of our away performances we set a standard at Stevenage.

“The new formation worked well, the lads put in a shift as always and we will need to do exactly the same at Accrington if we are to get a result.

“They will probably approach things a lot differently to Stevenage. They like to play and they are a strong side at home.

“We’ve had another good week in training and had a chat about what we want to achieve over the next few games.

“The lads are in good spirits but also mindful that we face a very tough opponent on Saturday.”
