Crawley Town will host Premier League Reading in the Third Round of the FA Cup.

The Reds, who saw off Chelmsford City 3-0 yesterday thanks to goals from Nicky Adams, Billy Clarke and Gary Alexander, were paired with the Royals in this afternoon’s draw at Wembley.

Crawley, who have reached the Third Round for only the fourth time in their history, have never met Reading, currently second-bottom of the Premier League, in a competitive match, while Reds’ director of football Steve Coppell will be reunited with one of his former clubs in the tie to take place on the weekend of January 5-6.
