Crawley Town Girls maintained their 100 percent start to the season with a well-deserved win at Polegate.

Rosie Newman’s out swinging corner was met on the volley by Kelly Poynton to beat the despairing dive of the Polegate keeper. Newman added their second with a speculative volley.

Ana Correia’s first goal of the season made it 3-1. Polegate pulled one goal back but it was not enough to threaten the Reds’ place at the top of the table.

Under-13s girls football

Worthing scored a goal in each half before Bonnie Brennan replied for Crawley Wasps in their 3-1 defeat.
