Dannie Bulman returns for Crawley Town today at Tranmere as manager Richie Barker is forced into making just one change to the side beaten by Reading in the FA Cup last week.

Midfielder Bulman comes in for Hope Akpan, who moved to the Reds’ Premier League conquerors on Tuesday, in a deal reported to be worth £300,000.

Otherwise, Barker names an unchanged line-up, which means centre back Claude Davis is still to recover from a knee problem, and Kyle McFadzean - who has been the subject of several bids this week - is still a week away from a return to action.

There is a place for new signing Matt Sparrow however, the midfielder joined from Brighton after his contract at the AMEX was terminated. If he plays it will be his first taste of action since March.

Tranmere, who have spent much of the season top of League One, come into today’s game on the back of three straight league wins, although they did suffer in the FA Cup last week, with a 5-0 Third Round defeat to Derby.

Rovers line-up with their new-signing, former Liverpool youngster David Amoo, who replaces Cole Stockton.
