Crawley’s overseas star Kunal Kapoor produced a brilliant all round performance as he guided them to a 93-run win against Findon.
Kapoor hit 115 as Crawley posted 223-8 before he took 5-8 in 8 overs to help bowl the hosts out for just 130.
Batting first, Crawley lost opener Lewis Tomkins early but that bought Razwan Hussain to crease to join Kapoor and the pair batted beautifully to put on 169 for the second wicket.
Hussain hit nine 4s and one 6 in his 121-ball 69.
But it was Kapoor who dominated, hitting 16 fours and two 6s on his way to a 135-ball 115.
After they went, Crawley lost five wickets for just 28 runs which led to a declaration on 223-8 from 48.5 overs.
Mark Solway was the pick of the Findon bowlers, taking 6-74.
And it was Kapoor who kept Crawley on top, reducing Findon to 23-3 in their reply.
That soon became 66-7 as Nadeem Najabat got in on the act, taking the next three wickets.
Glenn Bridson was doing his best to keep Findon in the game and he finished with an unbeaten 69.
But wickets from skipper Harry Chaudhary, Kasif Naveed and two more from Kapoor saw Findon dismissed for 130.
Kapoor finished with the sensational figures of 5-8 while Najabat took 3-10.
